ECG Basics & More
This online course designed for all clinicians who use ECGs as part of their patient assessment, who wish to refresh or refine their knowledge and interpretation skills. It is a self-paced online course that consists of a number of modules covering:
- Cardiac anatomy
- Basic electrophysiology concepts
- AV Blocks
- Bundle Branch Blocks
- Systematic ECG interpretation including
- Ischaemic changes (STEMI, NSTEMI, OMI)
- Cardiac Axis
- Infarction Mimics
- ECG utility in non-cardiac conditions
To ensure key concepts are understood, participants will have many opportunities to apply and test their knowledge throughout the course as well as with a final MCQ. Whilst comprehensive, the course can be completed in 6 hours and is also accredited for 6 CPD hours with the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (ACRRM) and participants will receive a certificate on successful completion.
